Lawrence Kwarteng-Ashia
Lawrence Kwarteng-Ashia is a seasoned Communications Practitioner with over twenty (20) years extensive experience in Communication strategy development and implementation, Public Relations, Community Communication/Relations and Brands Management spanning Commercial, Manufacturing, Extractive and the Public Sector. He is adept in the development of communication resource and tools for stakeholder engagement. Possesses a strong commitment to consistent outstanding performance both as an individual and as a team player. He played a key role in the successful first gold pour of Newmont Ghana Gold’s Ahafo Mine; was a lead advocate for Internal Audit Agency’s drive to get heads of MDAs and MMDAs to accept and embrace the internal audit role as a value-adding function. He was also instrumental in the creation of awareness on issues of academic quality assurance at the tertiary level and need for the general public/ prospective students to know the accreditation status of tertiary education institutions and their approved programmes before enrolling into them. Lawrence is currently a key member of Parliament of Ghana’s Media Relations team. He holds a PhD in Marketing with specialization in Communication, Master of Business Administration (Marketing), a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Mass Communication and is an accredited practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, UK.
